Hello, I'm the owner and founder of Carriage Oak Boutique, and I want to share the heart behind our brand with you. Our business logo, "The Tree of Life," represents far more than just growth. It symbolizes the vital role of women as life-givers, and the inherent strength and resilience we embody. Women and mothers deserve profound appreciation every day, not just on special occasions. Through every challenge and triumph, we continue to live, breathe, and nurture, embracing the immense and rewarding journey of motherhood.
My personal journey ignited a deep commitment to supporting foster youth. Having experienced the foster care system myself after losing both parents by age 13, I distinctly remember the dehumanizing feeling of receiving a black trash bag for my belongings when moving between homes. This experience fueled my mission to ensure no child feels disposable or less than. At Carriage Oak Boutique, we are dedicated to providing backpacks for foster children, offering them dignity and a sense of belonging during challenging times.
I've been passionately building this small business since January 2020. This year, in 2026, we are amplifying our efforts for foster children. We are actively seeking grants and partnering with a Nonprofit Grant Consultant to secure funding for our cause. We are also looking for authentic and passionate women and mothers to represent our company as Brand Ambassadors, who genuinely believe in our mission.
We currently have a "Donation" option on our website, where 100% of proceeds will go directly to our foster youth initiative. For those who donate, we offer a non-profit 501(c)(3) tax-deductible option, allowing you to claim your generous contributions on your taxes. YOU WILL RECEIVE AN EMAIL BY THE END OF THE YEAR for tax purposes.
Beyond the numbers, the true urgency of our mission lies in the silent struggles of children in foster care. Suicide rates among foster youth are a heartbreaking reality, often unaddressed due to privacy restrictions for wards of the state.
